This Responsibility Chart is Awesome
I love how this is constructed. It is very durable. The number of magnets for it is the perfect amount. It allows our kids to see how they are doing in a very visual manner. Weve only used it a short time but they grasp the concept of it very well. Two boys review: A learning tool more than a toy but very useful
We bought two of these last year for Christmas. Our boys were a bit too young to understand all the concepts so we put it away until now. The chart is easy to arrange and theres plenty of magnets to specialize each childs chart.

So far it is working to instill some responsibilities and manners in our sons. Not all of the measures are chores either. Theres magnets marked "share" and "say youre sorry" and "be nice" included too.

I really like Melissa and Doug products (check out my other reviews on Amazon). However I dont recommend this product as a toy. It shouldnt replace a toy or a game as a gift. This is a wonderful educational tool for parents -- consider it a gift to yourself and share it with your kids. :2010-09-16 01:31:45

Great visual aid for my 3 year old
Weve been working on helping our 3 year old "make good choices" and this chart has been an excellent visual aid to that end. It now really matters to him that he get a button for his tasks and both he and everyone else can see how hes doing with his choices. We can stress certain tasks if hes having trouble with them and see if certain days are harder than others in each area.

The variety of tasks mean this chart will be useful for years to come and there are a couple of blanks for you to write in your own tasks as well. :2010-09-16 01:31:45
